Got this from Shan's blog.

In kindergarten your idea of a good friend was the person who let you have the red crayon when all that was left was the ugly black one. In primary one, your idea of a good friend was the person who went to the washroom with you and held your hand as you walked through the scary halls. In primary two, your idea of a good friend was the person who helped you stand up to the class bully. In primary three, your idea of a good friend was the person who shared their lunch with you when you forgot yours. In primary four, your idea of a good friend was the person who let you copy the social studies homework that you forgotten to do the previous night. In primary five, your idea of a good friend was the person who saved a seat on the back of the bus for you. In primary six, your idea of a good friend was someone who comforted you and lent their shoulder to you when you received your PSLE results.

In secondary one, your idea of a good friend was the person who helped you to pass your Chinese spelling by letting you sit beside her and copy. In secondary two, your idea of a good friend was the person who agreed with you that your Chinese teacher is an asshole and both of you start throwing staples on his seat. In secondary three, your idea of a good friend was the person who came over to your house for a tanning session; fill you in the latest gossip and laugh at what horny bastards guys are. In secondary four, your idea of a good friend was the person who was there for you each time you feel miserable after losing a netball match and go shopping together for prom dresses.

Now, your idea of a good friend is still the person who gives you the better of the two choices, holds your hand when you're scared, helps you fight off those who try to take advantage of you, thinks of you at times when you are not there, reminds you of what you have forgotten, helps you put the past behind you but understands when you need to hold on to it a little longer, stays with you so that you have confidence, goes out of their way to make time for you, helps you clear up your mistakes, helps you deal with pressure from others, smiles for you when they are sad, helps you become a better person and most importantly loves you!

Well, that sounded what I used to have.

It turned out to be worse, something that I've never expected.
